Creating Safe and Healthy Homes in Clay County, Missouri
Our "Safe at Home" program creates safer living environments throughout the year by installing such things as grab bars, handrails, bathroom assistive devices, and smoke detectors. We also have volunteer crews who build wheelchair ramps and modify steps. To request safety modifications to your home, submit an application for repairs. If you are interested in being a Safe at Home Volunteer, contact us at 816.781.8985.
Our annual, one-day rebuilding blitz
Come and join us for a full day of neighbors helping neighbors on Saturday, October 6! Hundreds of volunteers will be making home repairs and safety modifications for low-income families, seniors, and people living with disabilities in Clay County. We would love for you to join us on this wonderful day of service. The House Selection Meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 7. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering.
