Who Are Our Volunteers?
Rebuilding Together Liberty is an organization comprised of all volunteers. The RTL board and committees organize and plan year-round for Rebuilding Day, as they are strictly volunteers as well. The majority of our volunteers group together to replace leaky roofs, install new furnaces and water heaters, fix plumbing problems, and repair other home essentials. Upon the completion of such tasks, RTL volunteers carry with them a sense of accomplishment as they help and improve the lives of those in need. Regardless of your abilities and repair skills, all we require is the willingness to do a little manual work and contribute to our effort in any way possible.
All home repairs completed by RTL are free to clients as we rely on the generous support of our persistent volunteers. RTL welcomes volunteers from all types of organizations such as corporate, social, and religious groups. We also welcome volunteers of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, and various skills. Our encouragement to you is to volunteer at the local level to assist elderly and disabled homeowners and make a contribution to the community.
Who Do We Help?
RTL insists on improving living conditions for its clients who are low-income homeowners who are unable to regularly maintain their homes. As mentioned, all volunteers work free of charge and referrals are made from businesses, schools, hospitals, churches, and other area organizations.
